My belief is that this work should help you make a decision you can live with, rather than help you feel better about avoiding one. A lot of comfortable therapy amounts to a well-supported stall, and I try hard not to provide that. So we get specific. A transition has actual components: what you would be giving up, what you would be taking on, what is really reversible, and what you are afraid of that has not yet been said aloud. We go through them one at a time. Most people discover the decision was being held up by a single unexamined item rather than by the whole thing. I hold only a small number of clients at once, which lets me hold the details of your particular situation from one week to the next rather than starting fresh each time. Continuity matters for decisions. If you have been stalling comfortably, get in touch.
