Therapy is often the first place people get to admit they're feeling confused or feeling unmotivated in ways they can't explain to friends or family. I'll meet that without judgment, and we'll work to make sense of it together. Therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not an interrogation. I aim to make our sessions feel collaborative and grounded, with room for whatever you bring through the door that day. For people who are recently widowed, or who are carrying a more recent loss, therapy can be a space where the grief gets to be exactly as big as it is. There's no timeline I'm going to impose on that. My work is rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My job is to help you see patterns you might be too close to notice, ask questions that haven't been asked, and walk alongside you while you do the harder parts.
