The first hour is mostly you describing the situation and me asking questions that get progressively more specific. There is no assessment, and you will not be asked to arrive with a tidy account of what you want. Most people do not have one. By the end of it you will usually have a clearer sense of what the actual crossroads is, which is often not the one you came in describing. That shift is quick and it changes what the work should be. We then agree what would be worth spending time on, and you can decide whether that sounds useful before committing to anything further. My practice grew slowly and almost entirely by recommendation, which suits a subject where people tend to ask a friend who has been through it. That is the standard I aim for. If you want a clearer view of what you are actually deciding, get in touch.
