Starting therapy is really hard, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling something. You are about to describe your inner life to a stranger; of course you have been putting it off. Here is what we would actually do together. Distractibility is my specialty: I help adults understand why focus arrives and leaves, and what to do on the days it leaves. We spend real time on the workplace, where ADHD quietly costs people raises, confidence, and sometimes whole vocations. My training is in motivational interviewing, which means momentum comes from your goals rather than my checklist. I am Jewish, and the questioning, argumentative tradition I grew up in shapes how I practice; disagreeing with me is allowed and encouraged. I have heard every version of 'I should be able to handle this alone,' and I have never once agreed. I spent years in a lively group practice before opening my own, and I brought its energy with me. Therapy here moves, builds, and celebrates progress out loud. If you have read this far, that already counts as a start.
