If sitting in this chair has taught me anything, it is that people are far more honest than they get credit for; they just need a room where honesty does not cost them anything. Almost no one is exaggerating, and almost everyone is underselling how hard it has been. I work with depression, and I came to this profession the long way, from the other chair, as someone who once needed this kind of help and found it. That history keeps me humble about how slow and nonlinear getting better can be. Together we look squarely at what has flattened your days, separate the problem from your worth as a person, and rebuild in increments small enough to actually hold. I am steady and unshowy. I will not dazzle you with theories, but I will stay close to the truth of your situation week after week. Plenty of people who reach me were nudged here by someone who cares about them, and that counts as a fine reason. If you would like to begin, I am here.
