Most of the people across from me carry a deep exhaustion that sleep alone will not fix, the kind that settles into how you think and not only how you feel. We take an honest inventory of what has been draining you and start returning small pieces of your life to your own control. I move at a pace that will not add one more impossible task to your list. I started out in research, and somewhere between the data sets I realized I wanted the actual room far more than the lab. That pull toward real people has never once left me.
