I became a therapist because I saw firsthand how transformative the right support can be. My own experiences with life challenges taught me that vulnerability is not weakness but the gateway to authentic living. I bring that understanding into every session I hold. Humor has a place in therapy, and I am not afraid to use it. Laughter can be healing, and the ability to find lightness even in dark moments is a form of resilience. That said, I always follow your lead and hold space for whatever emotions are present. Outside of my practice, I am an avid reader, a mediocre but enthusiastic cook, and a firm believer that walks in nature solve at least half of life's problems. I share this because I think it matters that your therapist is a real person, not just a credential on a wall.
