As a therapist, I see my role as part guide, part collaborator, and part accountability partner. I will challenge you when it serves your growth, celebrate your wins no matter how small, and always hold space for the messy, complicated, beautiful process of becoming who you want to be. My clinical training has given me a deep toolkit of therapeutic approaches, but I believe the most important tool in therapy is the relationship between us. Research consistently shows that the therapeutic alliance — not any single technique — is the strongest predictor of positive outcomes. Outside of my practice, I am an avid reader, a mediocre but enthusiastic cook, and a firm believer that walks in nature solve at least half of life's problems. I share this because I think it matters that your therapist is a real person, not just a credential on a wall.
