Let me say the plain truth first: reaching out to a stranger about the parts of life that feel worst takes real nerve, and doing it while your energy is scraping bottom takes even more. If you have made it this far down the page, you have already cleared the highest hurdle. The kind of heaviness I work with tends to stay invisible to everyone around you, which is a large part of what makes it so isolating. It drains your days of texture and convinces you this is simply who you are now. It is not. We work steadily to lift it, in pieces small enough to actually handle. Much of my earlier work was in nonprofit and social-service settings, sitting with people whose circumstances were really hard, which taught me patience and a steady stomach for other people's pain. I am encouraging without being falsely cheerful. No version of your story is too small or too heavy to bring in here. There is no rush; reach out when it feels possible and I will be here.
