You are perhaps here because you have read a description of these difficulties somewhere and recognized yourself with an unpleasant jolt. That recognition is uncomfortable and it is also the most useful thing that has happened to you in a while. It means there is a name for it. Post-traumatic difficulty is well documented and well treated. The shock of recognizing yourself in a list of symptoms is a a lot better position than years of assuming it was simply your personality. We start from the recognition. Nothing about it obliges you to accept any particular label or to describe anything before you are ready. I have watched that jolt arrive in this room many times and it is nearly always followed by relief within a session or two. Recognition is not a diagnosis and it is a beginning. If something you read described you, get in touch.
