
After many years of doing this work, here is what I know: nobody's inner life is as strange as they fear it is. The thoughts you are most ashamed of are thoughts I have heard, in some form, dozens of times. I work with anxious adults, especially those whose minds demand a certainty the world cannot provide. Many of my clients struggle with compulsions, the behaviors that promise safety and deliver a smaller life. My approach is acceptance and commitment therapy, which asks a better question: not how to delete these thoughts, but how to build a life so engaging they lose their grip. Our sessions are structured enough that you always know where we are, and open enough to hold whatever the week brings. I keep my caseload intentionally small; depth requires room. I am Jewish and non-binary, and both shape the care I bring to questions of belonging. Working with me feels like thinking out loud beside someone who is unbothered by complexity.
