My practice serves the armed forces community: active duty clients, recent veterans, and people many years past their service who are only now looking back. If that's you, welcome. A detour into administration confirmed what I'd long suspected, which is that clinical work is where I come alive, so I returned to it with fresh energy and no plans to leave again. Much of my work involves addiction, and much involves the aftermath of abuse; more often than not the two share a root system, and we dig it up together. Our work together can happen entirely in French if you like. I lead with energy and earned optimism, because recovery is not a theory to me; it's something I've had the privilege of watching up close, again and again. Sessions move: we set goals, we chase them, and we notice out loud when things improve. If you've been waiting for the right moment, I'd argue it's the one where you're reading this sentence.
