
People often assume that seeing a therapist means committing to years of aimless talking with no clear point. My work is not that. It has a direction, and you should be able to feel it moving. What I treat, mostly, is depression, and I approach it as a real and workable condition rather than a mood failing or a lack of grit. We start by getting honest about what your days actually contain, then make deliberate, modest changes and watch what they do. My earliest jobs were in crisis and emergency mental health, work that requires a level head when everything around you is loud, and I carry that same composure into slower, longer conversations. I am steady and grounded, and I do not rattle easily, which means you can be as blunt as you need to about how dark it has been. Nothing you say will be too much for this room.
