Feeling overloaded is often the price of being dependable in systems that keep asking for more. My approach is cognitive-behavioral, applied with patience and precision rather than as a script. I stay action-oriented because thinking about change was never what changed anyone's life. As a gender expansive therapist, I know how much it matters to be read correctly from the very first meeting. My questions tend to be slow and deliberate, and I think alongside you rather than at you. I also offer sessions in American Sign Language (ASL).
