
Let me say the honest part first: starting therapy is hard. Picking a stranger off a list and handing them your inner life takes real courage, and I never forget that. I trained in community mental health, where I worked alongside people managing bipolar disorder and long depressed stretches, often with very little margin for error. That work made me practical and impossible to discourage. Mood stability is achievable for far more people than the internet would have you believe, and we pursue it with a written roadmap that we update together. My methods are dialectical at their core, holding acceptance and change side by side. We measure progress in real terms: sleep, energy, follow-through, hope.
