
In my experience, nobody calls a therapist on their worst day. They call on the ordinary Tuesday afterward, when the crisis has passed and the tiredness, strangely, has not. Burnout is my home territory: I help adults hear what their weariness is trying to say before it has to say it louder. Some arrive carrying a heaviness that has outlasted every vacation and every early night. I also mentor clinicians who are newer to the field, and helping them find their voice has sharpened mine. Grounding steadies our sessions, because insight lands better in a person who feels settled. I am an enby therapist, plainspoken by nature, and that candor tends to give clients permission to be the same. My style is validating to its core: your reactions make sense, and we start from there.
