
There is a stubborn myth that therapy means years of talking before anything changes. I would like to retire that idea. Good therapy can be brisk, collaborative, and surprisingly concrete. I spent my early years in nonprofit work, alongside people carrying enormous stress with very little support, and it shaped how I practice now. If overthinking has become your default setting, we will map exactly where those loops begin. I work from a cognitive-behavioral framework because it is honest about how thoughts, habits, and feelings tangle together. What you do between sessions matters as much as the hour itself, so we treat your week as part of the work. I know trust is built rather than assumed, and I treat it that way. My pace is unhurried and my questions are earnest, but we will always be going somewhere. If you are weighing whether to start, I am glad to make the first conversation an easy one.
