
Let me say the honest thing first: starting therapy is awkward. You hand your inner life to a stranger and hope it will be handled with care. I never forget the size of that leap. I work with adults who feel on edge from morning to night. I also walk with people through dark seasons that make hope feel naive, and I promise you it is not. My training is in cognitive behavioral therapy, and I bring real energy to it: we set goals, try things, and celebrate movement wherever we find it. I spent my early years running therapy groups before moving to individual work, and that showed me how much people grow when someone really believes they can. I also offer sessions in French. Bienvenue! I am often the first person a client has ever told the whole story to, and I treat that as the honor it is. Expect encouragement that is earned, never automatic.
