
Good therapy, in my view, is a workshop rather than a confessional. You bring what is not working; together we take it apart, see how it runs, and rebuild it so it serves you. I specialize in adults who feel on edge, braced for a blow that never quite arrives. Many carry the pressures of high expectations, some they signed up for and a few they never did. My method is cognitive behavioral, and I like it because it is testable; we can both see whether it is working. You leave every session with skills you can use immediately, since understanding without practice fades by Friday. I am Jewish, and clients who care about that will find familiarity here; those who do not will simply find me. I know first impressions carry weight, so I set out to earn your trust rather than assume it. I found this field the honest way: as a client, in a chair very much like the one you would sit in.
