
Most people write to me not on their worst day but a week or two after, once the same heavy feeling has shown up enough mornings in a row that they can no longer call it a rough patch. That is a fine time to start. So is any other. A lot of what I treat is depression that has moved into the body, where even getting out of bed can feel like negotiating with wet cement. We do not pretend that willpower fixes this. We work out what is actually possible on a given day, build from there, and adjust as your baseline slowly lifts. I treat this work as a craft I am still sharpening after all these years, and I bring that same steady attention to every person I sit with. I talk like a regular person, not a textbook. You will not get jargon or a lecture from me, just plain questions and honest company while you sort out what has gone flat. Whenever you are ready, my inbox is open.
