
Nobody calls me on their best day. They call after another sleepless Sunday, or the hundredth reassurance that didn't hold, or the vacation their mind refused to attend. I treat anxiety and OCD, plainly and without drama. My sessions are structured because wandering conversations feel pleasant and change very little. The method is acceptance and commitment therapy: notice the thought, make room for the feeling, then do the thing that matters anyway. I spent my first working years in a completely different field, so I don't romanticize big changes; I respect what they cost. That respect shows up in how I pace the work: ambitious, but never reckless. If you want a therapist who says what she means and keeps things moving, we will get along fine.
