A myth I would love to lay to rest: that the way you learned to bond as a child is a life sentence. Attachment is a history, not a verdict, and histories can be reworked. In our sessions we trace how you first learned to stay close to people, or to keep them at a careful distance, and how those old strategies keep showing up with the people you love now. My years in nonprofit social services showed me humans adapting to impossible circumstances, and I have never since believed that anyone is simply bad at closeness. You adapted to something, sensibly, and now we get to update the adaptation together. Expect a thoughtful pace, real depth, and questions that stay with you between Tuesdays. If closeness has always felt more complicated for you than it seems to be for others, this is a fine place to examine why. Reach out when it suits you.
