
Here is what I honestly believe about therapy: it works when it turns small and specific. Big insights are pleasant, but real change lives in the ordinary stuff, the parts of a day nobody else ever sees. For a lot of the people I work with, the hardest item on the list is getting out of bed, and everything else bends around that one heavy fact. So that is where we start, not with a tour of your childhood, but with tomorrow morning and what might make it one degree less crushing. My practice grew the slow way, one person quietly passing my name to another, and I am really proud of that. It means most people arrive already half-trusting the room. I talk plainly, skip the jargon, and treat you as the adult you are. If mornings have gotten hard, send a note and we will take the first one together.
