
First meetings with me are quite low-key. There are no rapid-fire questions and no forms read aloud, just an unhurried conversation about what brought you in and what you want to be different. My practice has grown almost entirely by word of mouth, which I take as a sign that working steadily and without drama actually helps. Spiraling thoughts respond well to being slowed down and examined one loop at a time. People who feel they have lost their spark are often relieved to discover it was buried, not gone. I use a cognitive behavioral approach, so we will trace how particular thoughts and habits keep the cycle turning and then change them deliberately. I aim to be the kind of calm presence that makes hard things easier to say. There is no test to pass here and no right way to begin. Bring whatever you have, even if it is only a sense that something is off. We can figure out the rest together.
