
Therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not an interrogation. I aim to make our sessions feel collaborative and grounded, with room for whatever you bring through the door that day. If this is your first time in therapy, or you've been considering therapy for a while and finally feel ready, I want you to know there's no right way to do this. We'll go at your pace, and I'll explain anything that feels opaque about how the process works. For folks returning to therapy after a break, or who have had therapy before and want a different fit this time, we'll start by figuring out what worked and what didn't last time. That history is useful, not baggage. Many of my clients arrive because they were referred by a professional or because a friend or family member recommended this work. However you got here, the next step is yours to set.
