I began in research, watching mood from a careful distance, until I realized I wanted the room, not the lab. Now I help adults through mood episodes and through the dark seasons that can swallow whole months. My sessions are structured and purposeful, and my method is dialectical, balancing acceptance of what is with steady movement toward what could be. For clients who want it, I bring an Islamic perspective into our work, honoring the place religion holds in a whole life. I know how much it can matter to be understood without a long preamble.
