The people who find me are usually the dependable ones: the colleague who never misses a deadline, the sibling who organizes everything, the friend who keeps saying yes long after the tank has gone dry. By the time we meet, exhaustion has usually stopped being a phase and become a way of life. Many of my clients would never use the word depressed, yet they describe waking up flat, moving through the motions, and wondering where the color went. I began in group practice settings before going out on my own, and those rooms showed me how much healing happens when the pretending stops. Meditation is part of how we work, offered in small, doable steps rather than grand gestures. I try to make it easier to say the quiet things out loud. My approach is gentle without being passive: we move at a humane pace, and we keep moving. If any of this sounds like your life, reaching out can be as simple as one short message.
