
Good therapy is not advice delivered slowly. It is a disciplined act of attention, and attention, sustained and honest, is what actually changes people. I keep my caseload deliberately small so that every client gets my full presence rather than my leftovers. Exhaustion is the most common reason people find me, though what we discover underneath it varies widely. Depression deserves more than a pep talk, and in this practice it gets rigor, patience, and respect. Mindfulness is one of my primary instruments, adapted until it fits inside an actual busy life. As a nonbinary therapist, I built a practice where you do not have to translate yourself before being understood. Expect the room to be warm and the thinking to be sharp. Two or three good questions usually get us further than any speech, and I choose mine carefully. If that combination appeals to you, I would welcome the conversation.
