
A first session with me is quieter than you might expect. You talk, I ask a few questions, and somewhere in the middle you notice you have stopped rehearsing and started just saying it. I work with adults who feel scattered: sharp on the big picture, forever losing the thread on the small stuff. My toolkit is cognitive behavioral, which means we look closely at what you keep telling yourself and whether it is earning its keep. I have heard every version of 'I should be able to handle this by now,' and my answer never changes: should has never once helped anyone. My practice grew slowly through word of mouth, one person telling another, and I would not have it any other way. The tone here is casual and unhurried; we will get where we are going without a set agenda. If that sounds like a fit, reach out.
