
For people who are recently widowed, or who are carrying a more recent loss, therapy can be a space where the grief gets to be exactly as big as it is. There's no timeline I'm going to impose on that. Sessions with me tend to balance structure and exploration. Some weeks we'll work on something concrete; other weeks we'll sit with what's surfacing and see what wants attention. If you're walking in feeling overwhelmed, feeling exhausted, or feeling tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix, you're not alone. A lot of what we'll do is figure out what's actually yours to carry and what isn't, and slowly let the rest go. When you're feeling scared, feeling afraid, feeling angry, or feeling frustrated, those signals deserve to be taken seriously rather than soothed away. I'll help you stay with what's coming up long enough to understand what it's pointing at.
