Most people contact me at the point where thinking about it privately has stopped producing anything new. There is a stage where the internal conversation simply loops, and no further amount of reading or private reflection moves it forward at all. That is usually when an outside voice helps. Working through gender identity questions alone is really difficult, because you end up being both the person asking and the person supplying every answer. A second person in the room changes the shape of it. We do not rush toward a conclusion, but we do get you out of the loop you have been running. Time in hospital and intensive outpatient settings left me steady with material other people find charged. Very little registers as dramatic to me. If your own thinking has stopped going anywhere, get in touch. Most people are surprised how much shifts once the question stops being purely internal.
