Therapy should not feel like another obligation on your to-do list. I strive to create sessions that feel engaging, productive, and even occasionally lighthearted. Real change happens when you feel comfortable enough to be honest, and I work hard to build that trust from our very first conversation. My work is informed by an understanding that mental health does not exist in a vacuum. Your relationships, your work, your cultural background, your physical health — all of these shape your emotional experience. I take a holistic view of my clients because you are not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. Outside of my practice, I am an avid reader, a mediocre but enthusiastic cook, and a firm believer that walks in nature solve at least half of life's problems. I share this because I think it matters that your therapist is a real person, not just a credential on a wall.
