The thing I most want understood is this: you do not have to hit bottom to deserve help. Therapy is maintenance for a life, not just repair after a collapse. I trained in community mental health, where I learned to respect every kind of story that walked through the door. Worry is what I treat most: the low hum of it, the sleepless spikes of it, the way it slowly narrows a life. I am also deeply invested in the questions of womanhood, from invisible labor to the price of being endlessly agreeable. I was trained by formidable women, and I carry their standard into every session. With me you get plain language and a fair witness. I will not dress things up or talk around them, and I will never make you feel foolish for struggling. If that sounds useful, get in touch. A first conversation commits you to nothing, so ask me whatever you like.
