I began in research, and I left the lab because I wanted to sit with actual people instead of datasets. My practice centers on anxiety and the way it quietly rearranges a whole life around avoiding discomfort. I also focus on women's issues, from perfectionism to the constant obligation to hold everything together for everyone else. I know I may not be the obvious choice, and I take seriously what it asks of a woman to sit across from me. That trust is something I work to deserve in every single session. Sessions with me are steady and even. We name what is actually happening, then decide together what you want to do about it.
