I came to this work after years in a completely different field, and I still bring that outsider's respect for evidence and follow-through. Together we build a clear plan for treatment, so you always know what we are working toward and why. Emotion regulation is a skill set we practice deliberately, not a fixed trait you either have or lack. I also spend real time with people whose depression crept in slowly, the ones who tell me they have lost their spark. I try to model the steadiness I hope you will find in yourself.
