I believe therapy works when it gets honest about trade-offs. Every habit you've ever kept gave you something, and pretending otherwise is why so many attempts at change collapse early. My practice grew by word of mouth, one client telling another, and I never needed it to grow faster than that. I work from a harm reduction stance: your goals set the target, and abstinence is one option among several rather than an entry requirement. Ambivalence is welcome here; I'd rather work with your honest hesitation than with a resolution that won't survive the weekend. I am often the first woman a client has ever trusted with the whole story, and that is not something I have ever taken lightly. I deal in real talk: specific observations, honest answers, no fog. If this sounds like your speed, reach out and see.
