Sessions with me tend to balance structure and exploration. Some weeks we'll work on something concrete; other weeks we'll sit with what's surfacing and see what wants attention. For folks returning to therapy after a break, or who have had therapy before and want a different fit this time, we'll start by figuring out what worked and what didn't last time. That history is useful, not baggage. When you're feeling scared, feeling afraid, feeling angry, or feeling frustrated, those signals deserve to be taken seriously rather than soothed away. I'll help you stay with what's coming up long enough to understand what it's pointing at. Therapy is often the first place people get to admit they're feeling confused or feeling unmotivated in ways they can't explain to friends or family. I'll meet that without judgment, and we'll work to make sense of it together.
