For folks returning to therapy after a break, or who have had therapy before and want a different fit this time, we'll start by figuring out what worked and what didn't last time. That history is useful, not baggage. Many of my clients describe feeling lonely, feeling alone, or feeling isolated even when they're surrounded by people. Therapy can be one of the first places where being fully seen becomes possible, and that often loosens something on its own. If you're walking in feeling overwhelmed, feeling exhausted, or feeling tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix, you're not alone. A lot of what we'll do is figure out what's actually yours to carry and what isn't, and slowly let the rest go. When you're feeling scared, feeling afraid, feeling angry, or feeling frustrated, those signals deserve to be taken seriously rather than soothed away. I'll help you stay with what's coming up long enough to understand what it's pointing at.
