
People assume therapy means digging endlessly through childhood before anything gets better. Sometimes the past matters, but relief usually starts much closer to today, with the thoughts you had this morning. I cut my teeth in crisis work, where I learned I do not rattle easily, and that calm has served my private practice ever since. Overthinking is my focus: the endless pro-and-con lists, the decisions that take three weeks and still feel wrong. As a queer therapist, I hold this work with a particular care that comes from having needed it myself. The trans community has shaped me as a clinician and as a person, and my gratitude for that shows in how I practice. I offer solid ground: no drama, no rush, no pretending.
