
Sit with people long enough and one truth emerges: most of us already know what is wrong. What we need is company and a method while we finally say it in full sentences. Therapy helped me first; becoming a therapist came after, and that order still shapes how I practice. I work with adults who feel scattered, whose lives are full of started things: courses, closets, conversations. My approach draws on CBT, examining what your mind rehearses and what your habits repeat, then adjusting both with intention. As a Muslim woman in this field, I know how much it matters to be understood without needing a preamble. Clients often say sessions feel like talking to a friend who remembers everything you said last time. I hold high care and low pretense in equal measure.
